Does Morpheus8 hurt?
Morpheus8 is a non-invasive skin treatment that may cause some discomfort during the procedure, but the amount of pain experienced can vary from person to person. At Sunrise, a unique topical anesthetic compound is applied to the treatment area for at least 50-60 minutes, which helps significantly minimize any discomfort.
It is always best to discuss any concerns you have regarding pain management with Patricia before undergoing any procedure.
Recovery and Downtime
You will look like you got a bad sunburn on the first day, and this will minimize to pink by day three.
- Redness tends to last longer on body areas and neck (up to 3 weeks).Your skin will be pink and tender, and may feel swollen, tight, or itchy; these symptoms will resolve in a day or two.
- No vigorous exercising or profuse sweating for 48 hours. Sensitive skin should not be exposed to sweat for 72 hours.
- Avoid make-up and concealers for at least 48 hours. Light make-up after 48 hours, and normal make-up after 4 days.
- Be mindful and follow all recommendations!

Cancellation & Late Arrival Policies
All appointments require a $50 deposit to book and reserve your appointment time. Morpheus8 appointments require a $150 deposit. The deposit must be paid at the time of booking, with no exceptions.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please contact Sunrise Skin & Wellness as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule. You may text us at 813-738-1971 to let us know that you are unable to attend.
- Cancellations:
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will forfeit the deposit. - No-Shows:
Patients who do not show up for their appointment will be charged 100% of the appointment fee or the full cost of the procedure booked, as applicable. - Late Arrivals:
Arrivals 15 minutes late or more will be considered a cancellation, and the appointment will be automatically cancelled. The full appointment or procedure fee will apply, and no refunds will be issued.
We understand that unexpected situations happen. If you know or think you may be late, please text us as soon as possible. Exceptions may be made when you notify us at least 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
